Stellar is proud to be partnering with a well established mining contractor known for delivering high quality results across some of Western Australia’s leading sites. We are currently seeking an experienced and safety focused Mining Supervisor to join a high performing team on a 2:1 roster for an upcoming project - start date TBC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise production activities to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently
- Lead and motivate a team of operators and technicians
- Monitor compliance with safety, environmental and operational procedures
- Conduct daily pre start meetings and toolbox talks
- Liaise with senior site management and contractors to coordinate work activities
- Previous experience as a Supervisor in open pit mining
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of mine site safety protocols and procedures
- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay
- Temp to Perm opportunity with a reputable mining contractor
- FIFO from Perth - 2:1 roster
