About:
We are looking for multiple mechanically minded Trade assistants who have had some experience working in the Oils and Gas industry. You will be working alongside/spotting Boilermakers and Mechanical fitters.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded contractor delivering mechanical construction, tank refurbishments and shutdowns across Brisbane and beyond. The role is based locally but may require occasional travel for site works. This is a site based role, with consistent hours and strong overtime potential (10 hour days). This is an on going temporary position with Potential to transition into a permanent role.

Duties Include:
- Minor repair and installation work (e.g., tightening screws/bolts)
- Spotting/watching Trades in confined spaces and at Heights
- Assisting where required
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- Capable of working independently without constant supervision
- Must have a valid Confined spaces and Working at heights
- Must be able to pass a DAS prior to starting
