We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established industrial gas operation in Brisbane. This a temp to permanent role that offers stable hours and a supportive team environment, ideal for candidates local to the area (within 20km of Rocklea).
About the Role:
- Monday to Friday , 6:30am – 3:00pm
- Minimal overtime
- Site-based role with hands-on mechanical work
- Minor fabrication and welding required (must be comfortable welding)
- This is a fitter-focused role
- Operate lathe to machine or repair small parts
- Maintain and repair pumps and conveyor systems
- General maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support operations at a gas plant (including cylinder filling exposure)
- Work safely and independently with minimal supervision
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and safety-first mindset
- Must be local to the area (within 20km)
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
- Current Confined Space Entry (CSE)
- Current Working at Heights (W@H)
- Temp to Perm full-time position
