About the Role
We’re seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established infrastructure contractor at their Laverton-based workshop. This permanent, full-time role will see you perform a range of maintenance, diagnostics and overhaul tasks on industry-leading piling and construction plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs, diagnostics and maintenance
- Hydraulic and electrical fault-finding and servicing
- Overhaul and modification of plant and equipment
- Support safe and efficient operations of specialised gear
- Collaborate with a skilled workshop team
- Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or equivalent)
- Ideally a few years of experience post-apprenticeship
- Strong hydraulic experience highly regarded
- Safety-first mindset and pride in quality workmanship
- Extra tickets (Forklift, EWP, Rigging, Confined Space) will be viewed favourably
