About the role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery critical to the milling process. • Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on large-scale mechanical plant and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments to ensure safe equipment operation
• Work closely with other trades and operations teams to minimise downtime
• Support seasonal operations, including shift work and overtime during peak periods

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner
• Proven experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Commitment to safe work practices and working within strict safety protocols
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation
• Flexible, team-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
