Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mechanical Fitter experienced in maintaining fixed plant equipment by carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This role plays a critical part in supporting production and site operations within a structured and safety-focused environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Supervisors and Mine Maintenance Coordinators to maintain operational efficiency while adhering to rigorous safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets and determine repair action when required
- Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
- Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks
- Use of SAP to accurately record maintenance tasks
- Arrange for suitable equipment and materials to be available and appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes
- Competitive remuneration package, approximately $155,000 + superannuation
- Annual target incentive of $10,000

- Flexible FIFO or residential roster options including 8/6, 7/7, or 4/4/6 day rotations from various location throughout WA
- Other FIFO options; Perth, Busselton, Albany, Geraldton, Broome, Derby
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is mandatory
- Valid Class C manual driver’s licence
- Mechanical Engineering/Fitting trade qualification
- Confined Space, Working at Heights, First Aid Certificates
- High Risk Work Licences – LF, WP, DG / RB and OHTC (preferred)
- Ability to successfully pass medical assessments and drug & alcohol screening
