Mechanical Fitters – Fixed Plant | Rio Tinto
$155k + Super + $10k Bonus | FIFO or Residential
Rio Tinto is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters
with strong fixed plant maintenance
experience to join their WA operations. If you’ve worked across crushers, conveyors, screens, stackers, reclaimers, chutes, pumps and mills
—this role is for you.
What’s on offer:
- $155,000 + super + annual $10k incentive
- Full Medibank cover & 4.5 months paid parental leave
- FIFO roster – 8/6, 7/7
- FIFO from Perth, (other locations available) Busselton, Albany, Geraldton, Broome, Derby
- Preventative & breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment
- Inspections, fault finding & repair to ensure plant availability
- Isolations, compliance checks & SAP work order management
- Working with supervisors & coordinators to support production
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
- Proven experience on fixed plant mining equipment (not just mobile)
- Strong safety focus and ability to work in high-risk environments
- Australian Citizenship/PR & C Class driver’s licence
