About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically minded Maintenance Worker to join the team. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring the reliability of machinery and plant onsite through preventative maintenance, repairs, and responding to breakdowns.
You’ll work Monday to Friday from 5am to 1pm , with opportunities for overtime and occasional project work over long weekends. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, expand their skills, and grow within a well-established and secure business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on machinery and plant equipment
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
- Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
- Support continuous improvement of onsite operations
- Contribute to a safe and productive work environment
- Forklift licence required
- Mechanically minded with a strong willingness to learn
- Basic welding experience a bonus but not essential
- Additional tickets such as Working at Heights or Confined Space are highly regarded but not required
- Most importantly, you bring the right attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to your work
