The Opportunity:
Our client is a is a trusted, multi-disciplinary drilling company serving New Zealand and the Pacific for over 75 years. Based in Southbridge Canterbury, they are seeking a highly experienced maintenance technician or diesel mechanic with a fabrication background. You’ll be hands-on with our drilling equipment, leading a small team, and contributing to the smooth operation of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain drilling equipment
- Fabricate custom components
- Lead a small team of technicians
- Oversee contractors
- Contribute to management meetings
- Champion health & safety
- $42 – $45 per hour
- Guaranteed 40 – 45 hour work week
- Southbridge location with a daily shuttle from Hornby
