About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within the plant. Your key duties will include conducting regular inspections and performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Collaborating closely with production leaders, you will ensure the timely resolution of mechanical breakdown issues. This role requires you to work on a rotating roster with two other Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Collaborate with production leaders to ensure timely resolution of mechanical issues.
- Ensure equipment reliability through effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in plant and equipment maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and ensure collaboration across departments.
- Competitive hourly rate of $34-$36 per hour, with overtime for hours exceeding 8 hours and time-and-a-half for weekends.
