About the Role

We are looking for Machine Operators to join our team at our plant based in Airport Oaks . We are looking for a few Machine Operators for a variety of shift patterns which are all Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for monitoring machine output, ensuring the products meet client specifications and all products are completed to a high standard of quality. If you do not have experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment, full training will be provided. This role does require some heavy lifting so it is required that you are physically fit. You will attend a full site induction and food safety course, as well as full training on SOPs and you will have the opportunity to progress through the levels – this is encouraged. The current hours available are:

• Morning shift: 07:00AM – 03:00PM
• Afternoon shift: 03:00PM – 11:00PM
• Night shift: 11:00PM – 07:00AM (Please note the night shift is Sunday to Thursday)
  
  The main duties include:
• Maintain continuous operation of extrusion machines
• Help the experienced Operator’s in setting up materials and machinery
• Maintain optimum machine output in line with the production plan
• All scrap is monitored and minimised where possible
• Strive to upskill and nominate areas for potential improvement

• Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills; as well as good mechanical understanding
• Ideally you have come from a background operating machinery in a factory environment
• Reliable transport to get yourself to and from work
• No criminal history
• Possess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systems
• Must be a team player
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have no criminal convictions
• Thorough with good attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to do some heavy lifting
