About the Role
You’ll support trenchless installations by locating and guiding the drill head on civil infrastructure projects across Auckland.
Based in Silverdale.
Key Responsibilities
- Track depth, angle, and drill head direction
- Use locating tools (sonde, receiver, remote display)
- Guide operator in real time to keep bore path accurate
- Help avoid existing services and maintain safety standards
- Assist with utility installation across water and drainage networks
- Experience as an HDD Locator
- Confident using HDD locating systems
- Understanding of underground utilities
- Strong communication with machine operators
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety-focused
