This Carpenter Leading Hand position is an 8‑month assignment based in Taupō, supporting the delivery of a commercial construction project. You’ll be hands-on while coordinating daily site activities, ensuring quality workmanship and smooth workflow across the site.

- Lead and coordinate daily carpentry work on-site
- Support and mentor apprentices and carpentry teams
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Carry out framing, formwork, fit-outs, and general carpentry tasks
- Maintain safety compliance and high-quality standards
- Communicate updates to site management and assist with reporting
- Proven commercial carpentry experience, ideally in a leading hand or supervisory role
- Ability to manage workflows and maintain high-quality output
- Strong capability in reading plans, measurements, and site requirements
- Valid Site Safe
- Valid working rights in New Zealand
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence
