This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with an early February start date.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership and oversight of nursing services
- Ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred care
- Supporting, guiding, and mentoring nursing staff
- Working closely with GPs and the practice management team
- Helping maintains safe, efficient, and compliant clinical systems and processes
Skills and Experience Required:
- Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC
- Right to work in New Zealand- valid work visa
- Significant experience in general practice / primary health care
- Demonstrated leadership or senior nursing experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A friendly, approachable, and self‑motivated professional
- An established leader, or a nurse ready to take the next step into a leadership role
- Well organised, with strong time‑management and prioritisation skills
- Confident in leading by example and supporting others
- A collaborative team‑player with a positive and engaging communication style
