About the Practice

A welcoming North Shore practice with a strong supportive culture and patient‑centred ethos is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to step confidently into a Lead Nurse role.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with an early February start date.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Providing clinical leadership and oversight of nursing services
  • Ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred care
  • Supporting, guiding, and mentoring nursing staff
  • Working closely with GPs and the practice management team
  • Helping maintains safe, efficient, and compliant clinical systems and processes
   
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Registered Nurse with current  NZ Nursing Council APC
  • Right to work in New Zealand- valid work visa 
  • Significant experience in  general practice / primary health care
  • Demonstrated leadership or senior nursing experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • Well organised, with strong time‑management and prioritisation skills
  • Confident in leading by example and supporting others
