About the Role:
Youngman Richardson is seeking a Sales Specialist - Concrete Equipment, to grow market share and drive sales across the concrete laying, cutting, and contracting sectors. This role combines managing an established client base with proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will promote a wide range of diamond tools, concrete machinery, and associated equipment, while ensuring exceptional customer service and sound territory management.
Responsibilities:
- Selling a specialist range of diamond tools, concrete machinery, and related equipment
- Responding to inbound enquiries while actively sourcing and converting new business opportunities across the territory
- Managing CRM activity, maintaining accurate customer records, and meeting sales targets and KPIs
- Conducting onsite product demonstrations and confidently showcasing equipment capabilities
- Building strong, long‑term customer relationships and maintaining regular contact across the regio
- Completing all reporting, administration, and vehicle/H&S requirements to company standard
To succeed in this role you will be/have:
- Proven territory sales experience, in machinery, equipment, or other technical product environment
- Strong communicator with a consultative, solutions‑focused selling style
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service and collaborative teamwork
- Full, clean NZ driver’s licence and is confident operating vehicles with equipment trailers
- Approaches the role with curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to build deep technical product knowledge
- Enjoys hands‑on interaction with products and feels comfortable delivering practical demonstrations
