This is a standalone role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being the go-to person for all things IT. You’ll support a small local team while collaborating with site-based and international teams to ensure smooth, reliable operations across the business.
About the Role
As the sole IT contact in Brisbane, you will manage day-to-day IT operations while supporting broader infrastructure and systems across the business. You will work closely with a site-based IT Administrator in North Queensland and remote teams overseas.
This is a hands-on, generalist position covering everything from user support through to network and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary IT support for the Brisbane office (under 25 users)
- Provide desktop support, troubleshooting, and user assistance
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment
- Support and monitor network infrastructure including switching, Wi-Fi, and VPNs
- Assist with setup and maintenance of Meraki networking and FortiGate firewalls
- Manage dual ISP connections and ensure network reliability
- Support AV systems including Teams and Zoom meeting rooms
- Oversee cabling, UPS systems, and CCTV infrastructure
- Collaborate with site-based and international IT teams on broader initiatives
- High level of autonomy and ownership in a standalone role

- 4–7 years’ experience in a similar IT support or systems role
- Strong generalist IT skillset across networking, systems, and end-user support
- Experience with Microsoft 365, networking, and infrastructure environments
- Exposure to technologies such as Meraki, FortiGate, VPNs, and AV systems
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
