About the Role
This is an internally focused role where you will support the sales team while building the core skills required to manage your own customer portfolio.  In your first 3–5 months, the focus is on learning the business, systems, and sales processes. You will work closely with Key Account Managers, support customer activity, and build confidence in managing enquiries, quotes, and day to day account coordination. You will begin taking ownership of a targeted group of customers, establishing regular contact, identifying growth opportunities, and driving repeat business within an existing account base. This role offers a structured environment with strong systems, training, and support, along with a clear pathway into more senior sales responsibilities over time.
   
Responsibilities:
  • Support the day to day management of existing customer accounts
  • Work Closely with Key Account Managers on pricing, quotes, and projects
  • Establishing regular customer contact through structured phone based call cycles
  • Identifying and converting opportunities for increased share of wallet
  • Achieving monthly and annual sales targets across the account base
  • Logging all customer activity, opportunities, and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Working with Commercial Excellence to optimise pricing and margin outcomes
  • Coordinating quotes, samples, and internal support to meet customer needs
  • Maintaining strong customer retention and relationship strategies
   
Key Requirements & Skills:
  • Experience in Sales, Merchandising or Sales Support Coordinator
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce or business (desirable)
  • Exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, or packaging environments is highly regarded
  • Confident communicator with practical, solution focused approach
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Commercial aware with an interest in business growth
  • Confidence working with systems, CRM tools (Sales Force), and sales processes
  • A positive, energetic, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
