About the Role
As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are operating at their best. From routine maintenance and troubleshooting to hands-on repairs and installations, your work will directly impact the comfort and safety of commercial environments across Christchurch.
You’ll work both independently and alongside a skilled team, delivering reliable service with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and remedial HVAC planned and remedial maintenance and minor installations
- Carry out filter cleans and minor HVAC fixes or installs as directed by your supervisor or service coordinator
- Complete all tasks to a high commercial standard, showing pride in your workmanship and attention to detail
- Adapt your schedule to meet client needs, including occasional after-hours service calls
- Prioritise safety in every aspect of your work—for yourself, your team, and the client environment
- Relevant trade qualifications (preferred) or HVAC Experience
- Current unrestricted NZ Driver’s Licence
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and OH&S guidelines
- Strong communication skills and a customer centric approach
