We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Installer to join a growing team. This position plays a key role in delivering high‑quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions across residential, light commercial, and commercial sites. You’ll bring technical know‑how, a commitment to safe work practices, and a focus on delivering reliable results for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the installation of HVAC systems across residential, light commercial, and commercial sites, following job requirements and recognised industry practices
Review and understand plans, schematics, and technical documentation to deliver precise and efficient installation work - Configure, test, and commission equipment to ensure systems operate as designed and meet performance expectations
- Manage workload to ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed budgets, raising any changes or variations as soon as they arise
- Identify, diagnose, and fix technical problems quickly to keep work progressing smoothly and maintain a positive client experience
What we’re looking for:
- A Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Level 4) or a minimum of three years’ hands‑on experience in the industry
- An EST license is a welcome bonus, though not a requirement
- Proven capability in installing HVAC systems across both residential and commercial settings
- Solid technical understanding of HVAC equipment, ducting practices, and associated components
- Strong analytical thinking with a sharp eye for detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to guide, support, and develop apprentices
- Highly driven, able to work autonomously, and comfortable taking initiative
- Brings a positive and down to earth mindset
- NZ Residency or NZ Citizenship
