About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced HR Superintendent to support their Mining Operations in the Moranbah Region. You will be work closely with site leadership and a growing HR team both on site and head office to drive people-focused outcomes and lead continuous improvement across HR systems, processes, and site engagement.
This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic operational environment and brings both strategic oversight and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR leadership across site, supporting leaders and frontline employees
- Champion continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and site processes
- Manage and coach a site-based HR team
- Ensure alignment with IR/ER practices and compliance requirements
- Build strong working relationships with operational leaders to influence outcomes
- Support site-based talent, engagement, and workforce planning initiatives
- Proven experience in a senior site-based HR role within mining, resources or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of IR/ER practices in an operational setting
- Confident working on site and partnering closely with leadership teams
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team
- Comfortable managing both strategic HR projects and day-to-day activities
