About the Role
This is a true HR Business Partner role, working closely with the HR Manager to support a diverse, predominantly site-based workforce across Queensland.
You’ll operate across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with leaders to ensure workforce readiness for current and upcoming projects, while also supporting broader HR initiatives and continuous improvement.
You’ll be part of a close-knit HR team, with support locally and across another Brisbane site, offering collaboration while still providing ownership and autonomy in your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to deliver practical, solutions-focused HR support
- Work closely with hiring managers to ensure workforce capacity aligns with project demands
- Support workforce planning and broader workforce strategies
- Manage employee relations, performance, and conduct matters end-to-end
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and standards
- Support key HR initiatives, including systems and payroll-related projects
- Contribute to employee engagement and continuous improvement across the business
- Maintain accurate HR data, reporting, and compliance
- Proven experience in a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong generalist HR capability across the full employee lifecycle
- Experience partnering with operational leaders in a fast-paced environment
- Confident managing employee relations matters and providing practical advice
- Comfortable supporting a blue-collar or project-based workforce
- Able to balance day-to-day HR with involvement in broader projects and initiatives
