This is an opportunity to join a well-funded, growing mining asset owner with operations in Queensland and a clear growth pipeline. With multiple assets already established and additional projects in development, the business is entering a key phase of expansion and is strengthening its corporate support functions to match.
Based in Brisbane, this role will support both the corporate office and a broader site-based workforce, working closely with leadership to deliver practical, hands-on HR support across the business.
About the role:
Reporting into senior leadership, you will operate as a true generalist, supporting a mix of blue- and white-collar employees across multiple sites. You will be backed by an experienced leadership team and existing HR/admin support, while also having the autonomy to own and drive day-to-day HR outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle
- Supporting onboarding, workforce growth, and mobilisation activities
- Advising leaders on employee relations, performance, and HR best practice
- Assisting with policy development and process improvement
- Supporting a multi-site workforce across mining operations
- Contributing to building structure and capability as the business grows
This role suits someone who is confident in a generalist HR position and ready to step into a growing environment where they can add value quickly.
You will bring:
- 2–5 years’ experience in a HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
- Exposure to both blue- and white-collar workforces
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Mining or resources experience is beneficial but not essential
