This is an opportunity to join a well-established mining organisation supporting a large operational workforce in the Moranbah region.
Working on site, you will partner closely with operational leaders and employees to deliver practical, hands-on HR support across workforce operations, engagement, and compliance.
The role:
Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will operate as a true generalist across a broad range of HR activities in a fast-paced site environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering generalist HR support across site and corporate teams
- Supporting recruitment activities including coordination, onboarding, and candidate management
- Coordinating workforce accommodation and site logistics
- Assisting with payroll processes and HR administration
- Maintaining employee records, reporting, and HR documentation
- Providing guidance to supervisors and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Supporting workforce reporting and data management internal systems
- Contributing to HR initiatives and site-based workforce projects
You are a proactive HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and being embedded within a site environment.
You will bring:
- Experience in a HR in an operational environment
- Exposure to generalist HR functions including recruitment and workforce administration
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HRIS systems and processes
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong initiative
