We’re seeking an experienced HSE Manager
to elevate safety performance, mentor a high-performing HSE team, and partner closely with project leadership. This is a site-based 2/1 FIFO role
on a large minesite civil infrastructure development, where your influence will shape HSE culture and improve outcomes.
About the Role
- Lead and develop a team of HSE Advisors.
- Oversee project HSE functions and ensure compliance with all client, project, and legislative requirements.
- Coach and support project leaders to embed consistent, practical HSE practices.
- Drive proactive safety initiatives and strengthen a positive safety culture.
- Support incident investigations (including ICAM) and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
- Relevant HSE qualifications (Bachelor preferred; Diploma accepted).
- Lead Auditor, ICAM Lead Investigator, First Aid, and White Card.
- Strong civil construction experience in an HSE leadership capacity on major minesite civil projects for other Tier1/2 contractors ie. $50M+ bulk earthworks, rail formation, embankments, haul/access roads, TSFs or similar
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of HSE legislation and compliance frameworks.
- Proficient in MS Office and incident management systems.
- Prior FIFO, site-based project experience on remote projects.
