We’re seeking a proactive and organised HSE Coordinator to join our team on a fixed‑term contract. This role is critical to supporting safe and efficient site operations, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and strengthening our overall safety culture. You’ll be the key on‑site contact for HSE coordination, daily operational support, and communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on‑site tasks and support operational requirements
- Lead and document morning HSE meetings
- Maintain attendance registers and oversee JSA audits
- Monitor vehicle occupancy and maintenance compliance
- Support HSE training requirements
- Liaise with key clients and manage MSDS/chemical registers
- Track and verify HSE qualifications, licences, and electrical equipment certifications
- Ensure emergency procedures are up to date and well communicated
- Promote HSE best practice and continuous improvement across the site
- Maintain HSE statistics and help coordinate safety meetings
- Assist with incident investigations (training provided)
- General administration including timesheets and coordination with the storeperson
- Support a positive, proactive safety culture across all teams
- Use and support HazardCo
- Previous experience in HSE support or site administration
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can work with all levels of site staff
- Someone proactive, positive, and committed to continuous improvement
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced operational environment
- A team player who contributes to a strong safety-first culture
