This is an ongoing contract HR Administrator role based in Townsville, supporting a large, established organisation operating across manufacturing, agribusiness, and renewable energy.
You’ll join a busy People & Culture team supporting a diverse, site-based workforce. This role suits someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and working in a fast-paced operational environment.
About the role
You will provide hands-on HR administration support across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the People & Culture team, you’ll ensure HR processes, documentation, and systems are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

- HR administration support across the employee lifecycle
- Preparing employment contracts, variations, and related documentation
- Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Responding to general HR and P&C queries
- Supporting recruitment and People & Culture activities as required
- Previous experience in an HR administration or HR support role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working with HR systems and employee data
- Professional communication skills and ability to manage confidential information
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or site-based environments highly regarded
