We're looking for experienced Diesel/Heavy Automotive Technicians to join our team maintaining a modern public‑transport bus fleet. This is a hands‑on role suited to technicians who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a supportive team environment.
What you'll be doing
- Full service and maintenance across the fleet
- Diagnostics, fault‑finding and repair
- Electrical and wiring repairs
- Working across all areas of the bus, including engine, driveline, suspension, brakes, HVAC and electrical systems
- Complete all repair work in line with compliance and road-safety requirements
- Accurately record all service, repair, and diagnostic work in workshop systems
What you'll bring
- 3+ years' experience working on buses, heavy trucks, or heavy equipment
- Experience working on buses an advantage
- Trade qualification as a Diesel/Heavy Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic ability and confidence working independently
- A solid work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- NZ Work Visa, NZ Residency, or NZ Citizenship
