About the opportunity:
Stellar Recruitment, in partnership with Enaex Australia, is looking for an experienced Heavy Road Vehicle Mechanics to join their team. This role will initially be based at the Kewdale workshop or Collie plant before transitioning to the Hope Downs mine site on an 8/6 roster.

Enaex has recently secured a long-term contract to provide down the hole blasting services to Rio Tinto. A new team is currently being recruited with deployment to the project to begin in the next couple of months.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Fault finding, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles and plant equipment including MPUs, telehandlers, gensets, compressors, Scania, and Volvo trucks.
• Working with low voltage electrical systems and automated safety control systems.
• Logging maintenance work and keeping inventory up to date.
• Assisting site operations as required, including some travel between Collie and Karara.
• Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager in reviewing plant performance and implementing preventative or remedial actions.

• Trade qualification (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle) with extensive experience in heavy vehicle and plant maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude.
• Experience with fault finding, low voltage systems, and automated safety controls.
• Safety-first mindset with demonstrated leadership in safety practices.
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to assist with various operational tasks.
• Current HR driver’s and forklift licences.
• Ability to obtain full security clearance, SSAN, or Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
