Role Responsibilities:
This role requires a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Your main duties will include:
- At least 3 – 5 years’ experience as a heavy vehicle Auto Electrician
- Able to conduct electrical inspections and testing to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Have strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Be proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Can install and upgrade electrical components, including lighting, GPS, communication, and entertainment systems etc
- Demonstrating and maintaining clean workshop practices in your day-to-day role and ensuring that these practices meet the high standards held by the Workshops team
- Possess relevant trade qualifications
- Have adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Have minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Heavy Vehicles / Trailers
- Ensure adherence and understanding to Health & Safety regulations and relevant company policies
- Be proactive and motivated in finding better ways to continuously improve, while being adaptable in a dynamic and growing team
- Be physically fit to carry out the necessities of the role
- Hold a current full NZ Class 1
