Due to continued growth, we are looking for skilled Diesel Mechanics to join a team based in Leeston. You’ll be working in a busy workshop across a mixed fleet of earthmoving equipment and trucks. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and carrying out preventative maintenance, while working alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair a mixed fleet of equipment
- Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete job cards and paperwork accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- $40–$45 per hour
- 50 hours per week
- Diverse fleet
- Monday–Friday work
- Weekly pay cycle
- Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or equivalent experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across a range of heavy machinery and vehicles
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
