Due to growth within the company, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team in Drury working Monday to Friday with optional Saturday work. Our client is a well-established company that values its staff. Working in a busy workshop you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and completing preventive maintenance on a variety of Scania trucks. You will play a crucial role in supporting Scania fleets across the South Auckland / North Waikato area, ensuring the continuous delivery of goods nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance/servicing
- Diagnosing and repairing any faults in heavy vehicles
- Completing any relevant paperwork
- Ensuring workshop cleanliness and presentation with the team
- Being a team player, supporting learning and collaboration
About you:
- 3 plus years of experience as a Heavy Diesel mechanic.
- Friendly, professional and have a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
