About the role:
Based in Auckland and working Monday to Friday, you’ll carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of buses, from routine maintenance through to urgent breakdown callouts. Ensuring the fleet runs safely and reliably.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs
- Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
- $40–$44 per hour (based on experience)
- Tool allowance
- Call-out bonus
- Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays
- Weekly pay cycle
- Work for a large, well-known company with a nationwide network
- Supportive, skilled workshop team & well-equipped facilities
- 2–3 years experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Solid diagnostic skills and hands-on repair expertise
- Class 2 & 4 Licence (or willingness to obtain)
