About the Role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic
to join their team. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of trucks in a busy, well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of trucks
- Diagnose any mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct repairs and component replacements
- Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Recognised trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in a similar role
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player
- Competitive pay: $40–$42 per hour + overtime
- 40–45 hours per week
