About the opportunity:
Due to growth within the company, we are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team in Lower Hutt. Our client is a well-established company that values its staff. Working in a busy workshop you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and completing preventive maintenance on a variety of trucks working alongside an experienced team. Working Monday to Friday and a half day on Saturday when required.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of trucks.
• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
• Collaborating with a team of skilled mechanics to achieve top-notch results.

• $40-$45 P/H
• Overtime

• Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
