About the opportunity:
Due to growth within the company, we are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team in Porirua. Our client is a well-established company that values its staff. Working in a busy workshop you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and completing preventive maintenance on a variety of trucks working alongside an experienced team. Working Monday to Friday 7 am till 5 pm and working a half day on Saturday when required.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of trucks.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
- Collaborating with a team of skilled mechanics to achieve top-notch results.
- Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of heavy vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure vehicles perform at their best.
- Work alongside a team of skilled mechanics to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
- Handle paperwork efficiently to ensure a smooth workflow
- $40-$42 P/H
- Overtime
- 45 hours guaranteed
