We're recruiting A-Grade Heavy Diesel Fitters for a brand-new project near Middlemount, working directly with a well-recognised mining contractor. With a fresh leadership team, a major fleet rollout, and long-term plans to make this one of their biggest operations, this is a rare opportunity to join from day one and play a key role in building the site's success.
What will you be doing?
- Maintaining and repairing a range of heavy mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi
- Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults and carrying out repairs
- Performing routine servicing and breakdown maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly
- Collaborating with the site team to ensure safe, efficient operations
- Assisting with the mobilisation and setup of a large fleet of machinery

What are we looking for?
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic with proven trade credentials
- Skilled in working on major surface mining gear like CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr
- Safety-driven with a collaborative approach to teamwork
