About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the ground, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and leaders to embed a culture of safety. You’ll be coordinating Health & Safety practices across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with NZ construction standards, and making a tangible difference to the wellbeing of teams.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and influence. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- 3-4+ years experience in a construction-focused H&S role
- A relevant NZ qualification
- A sound knowledge of NZ construction health & safety legislation and industry standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and confidence using basic software systems
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites
- A proactive, flexible attitude, willing to pitch in and support operational needs where required
- Confidence in communicating with people at all levels and influencing safe work practices
