We are looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to join our team. This is an ongoing temporary full-time role based in Frankton, Hamilton. This role supports the Health & Safety, Quality & Compliance team with key administrative tasks such as data entry, following up on Health and Safety investigations and managing customer complaints. Please note that this role is predominantly based within the factory environment therefore you must be comfortable in this environment. Key responsibilities will include:
- General administration skills alongside the Health and safety team including data entry
- Following up on ongoing Health and Safety investigations
- Customer facing including taking customer complaints over the phone
- Ensuring that the H&S system is kept clean and tidy and that completed events are closed off
- Completing reporting
- Working alongside the Production team to ensure ongoing H&S and quality
- This role will be factory based and will involve tasks such as taking samples from the products, quality checking items coming off the machines, climbing up stairs within the factory
- You will be communicating with the production team as well as the management team so must be comfortable communicating at all levels
- Manage office supplies, incoming parcels, consumables, and PPE
- Support the Quality and Compliance processes
- Proven experience in administration from a manufacturing/production environment or similar
- Knowledge of Health and Safety systems and processes would be advantageous
- Experience working on a construction site or within a factory environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Available to start ASAP.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to own the role and duties
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong IT skills are a must – you will be working on computers daily
