As part of a major upcoming industrial project based in Taupō, they are seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to support project delivery on a 10-month fixed-term basis.
About the Role:
This role plays a key part in supporting health and safety systems and processes throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating safety workflows, and ensuring strong communication between operational teams and leadership.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset, looking to apply their H&S knowledge in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and file Safety Work Method Statements (SWMS) and site-specific permits
- Manage and organise H&S documentation
- Support the coordination of inductions and training records
- Act as a key liaison between Supervisors and Project Managers for all safety-related matters
- Assist with general site administration related to compliance, audits, and reporting
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety support or admin role, ideally within construction, trades, or heavy industry
- Confident working across teams and coordinating documentation
- Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
