This role suits an operator who understands site development, works accurately from plans, and takes pride in delivering a clean, consistent finish across bulk earthworks and final shaping.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating grader across civil earthworks and subdivision projects
- Shaping, trimming, and preparing surfaces to spec
- Working to levels and plans (GPS experience advantageous)
- Supporting site development including drainage and prep works
- Completing daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working closely with site supervisors and civil crews

Required experience and tickets These are required and are a barrier to entry:
- Proven experience operating graders on civil projects
- Experience in shaping and trimming on subdivisions or earthworks
- Strong understanding of working to levels and plans
- Good awareness of site safety and working around machinery
- Must have working rights for New Zealand
Highly regarded:
- GPS experience
- Experience across large scale civil or infrastructure projects
