We are partnering with multiple clients in the steel manufacturing sector who require reliable General Labourers and Skilled Labourers / Forklift Operators for ongoing positions with the opportunity to transition into full-time permanent employment.

The Role
Working within busy steel manufacturing and processing facilities, you will be part of a safety-focused team contributing to daily production targets.

Duties may include:
  • Hand wiring steel products
  • Hooking and preparing steel for processing
  • Operating forklifts (where licensed)
  • General housekeeping and yard duties
  • Manual handling and lifting up to 22kg
  • Assisting trades and machine operators
About You
  • Previous labouring or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forklift licence highly desirable (not essential)
  • Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 22kg
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Own PPE required: long sleeve hi-vis shirt, long work pants and steel cap boots
  • Reliable transport to get to site
