Role Details:
- $26.90 per hour plus $24.01 shift allowance per shift
- Temporary position through to mid-June with possibility of extension
- Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 12:00am (Afternoon shift)
- Immediate start available
- Located in Hornby Christchurch
- Opportunity for extension past June
- Current OSH forklift licence
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Reach truck experience is an advantage
- Confidence working both independently and within a small team
- Strong attention to detail and accurate scanning ability
- Physically capable of regular lifting up to 20kg
- Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Available for an immediate start
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play an essential role on the production take‑off line, ensuring the smooth flow of finished product from manufacturing through to warehousing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a forklift to move and stage finished goods
- Transferring product from production areas to the warehouse
- Scanning and receipting product accurately through the stock management system
- Assisting with general warehousing duties as required
