We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join our client based in Albany in Auckland. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 08:00AM – 04:30PM (or similar – we can be slightly flexible with this if required). Please note this role has an immediate start available and will be going through until after Christmas (with a potential extension into the new year). Please note that this role will be working through the Christmas period (you will get the public holidays off work). You will report to the Site Manager and work alongside a small team. Duties will include:
- Operating a Forklift Truck as well as a Reach Truck
- Picking and packing orders
- Stretch wrapping
- Palletising
- Moving materials
- General cleaning of the yard
- Regularly lifting 20kgs of product
- Loading and unloading trucks
- You must have a valid Forklift license
- You will ideally have Reach Truck experience and a license
- At least 1 year experience operating a forklift truck
- Good communication and be able to work alone and in a small team
- Must be able to work through the Christmas period
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Able to regularly lift 20kgs
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Keen attitude to learn and get involved
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
