Are you a reliable and physically fit labourer looking for ongoing, full-time hours with the potential to go permanent? We are currently seeking General Labourers
and Skilled Labourers with Forklift Licences
(or willing to obtain) to join a busy and well-respected steel manufacturing business
in Ipswich.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving team with consistent hours, overtime, and weekend work available during peak periods.
What's on offer:
- Immediate start with consistent Monday to Friday hours
- Casual position with potential to go permanent after 6 months (subject to performance)
- Opportunities for overtime and weekend work
- Day and afternoon shifts available
- Day Shift: 5:00am – 1:00pm (plus overtime & weekend work)
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm (plus overtime & weekend work)
- Operating forklifts to move heavy steel products (if licensed)
- Manual handling of lightweight steel
- Hand wiring and strapping
- Use of hand and power tools
- General labouring tasks
- A current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Your own PPE: long sleeve hi-vis shirt, long pants, and steel cap lace-up boots
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
