Are you an experienced Civil Foreman ready to bring your leadership and operating skills to a trusted, well‑established Civil Construction company in Christchurch? If you're after secure, long-term work with a strong pipeline through 2026, this is an excellent chance to join an expanding civil earthmoving team and make your mark.
In this role, you'll lead and supervise crews onsite, including subcontractors, ensuring smooth day to day operations. You'll also jump on machinery when required, supporting earthworks, drainage, and general civil construction tasks. Projects range across large-scale subdivisions, land development, and commercial sites, giving you variety and progression.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Foreman or Supervisory experience within Civil Construction
- Competent operating heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks, etc.)
- Full Class 1 licence + WTR (Class 2 preferred)
- Hands-on attitude and willing to work on the tools when needed
- Strong work ethic with clear, confident communication
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Site Safe (preferred)
- Ability to complete all pre‑employment checks
- NZ residency or valid work rights (required)
- $35–$42 per hour (depending on experience) + company vehicle
