About the role:
The demand for experienced, qualified drain layers has never been higher. Several of my clients are working on exciting projects across the Christchurch region, including large infrastructure projects, council work and subdivisions.
Role Requirements
- Operate a variety of plant, including excavators 1.5t – 20t
- Read plans, plan, order and ensure materials are onsite to meet project timelines
- Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining drainage systems
- Demonstrate your experience in leading a small team
- Liaise with stakeholders, clients and suppliers
- 5+ years of Drain laying experience, Trade/Certified Drainlayer qualification is essential
- Understanding of the principles and technology of drain laying and new water connection work
- Clean Class 1, 2 and WTR endorsements
- Have good written and verbal communication skill
- Able to pass all pre-employment checks
- Hold a Site Safe ticket
- $38 - $45 Per Hour + Company Vehicle (based on applicants' experience, qualifications & skills)
