We’re seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a leading mining organisation based in Brisbane’s CBD. This role sits within a collaborative and fast-paced finance team, supporting key transactional and month-end processes during a busy project period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain financial data integrity within the ERP system
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure compliance
- Contribute to process improvement and system efficiency initiatives
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer or similar accounting support role
- Strong understanding of transactional finance and month-end processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Confident communicator with sound Excel and ERP system skills
- Available to commence immediately or at short notice
