Our client, a small but busy Dunedin-based business, is seeking a CA-qualified Finance Manager to take ownership of their finance function and help the team operate efficiently day-to-day. This is a hands-on role with a broad remit, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, varied environment.
 What you’ll be doing: 
- Overseeing all finance functions, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end reporting, and financial analysis
 - Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
 - Preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance, and providing insights to support decision-making
 - Coordinating sponsorships and other financial commitments
 - Handling general administration tasks and supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
 
- CA-qualified with solid experience in finance management
 - Highly organised, hands-on, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team
 - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to provide clear, actionable insights
 - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business
