About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, drive performance, and support decision-making processes. This role reports directly to the CFO and plays a key part in global financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day finance function and support strategic business planning
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and forecasts
- Manage currency exchange and foreign transactions across global markets
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the US-based head office
- Oversee budgeting, cash flow, and compliance with local and international standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to support business objectives
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience dealing with global markets and foreign exchange
- Strong understanding of NZ financial reporting and IFRS
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Adaptable and solution focused mindset.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand, overseas applications will not be considered
