This a pivotal leadership role focused on driving excellence in financial reporting, compliance, and accounting integrity while supporting broader strategic objectives.
You will oversee the full financial accounting function, including the preparation of annual financial statements for both the parent entity and group structure, management of the general ledger and fixed asset register, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and tax obligations. You’ll also coordinate statutory returns, insurance renewals, and maintain key external relationships with auditors, advisors, and financial institutions.
As a senior member of the finance team, you’ll contribute to the ongoing development of financial policy, process improvement initiatives, and provide insightful financial analysis and advice to senior leadership. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and developing a team of accounting professionals.
What we’re looking for:
- CA-qualified (or equivalent) with a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial accounting, including leadership roles
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax legislation, with experience in group reporting and audit liaison
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent Excel and financial system proficiency
