Position Overview:
Join a leading distributor in the consumer technology space, partnering with some of the most recognisable brands in the industry. As a Field Services Representative, you’ll work closely with contracted retail customers across Hastings and Napier to deliver regular in-store support. This includes training staff, sharing sales tools, merchandising displays, and driving accessory sales. Your role is all about building strong relationships, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring retail partners are set up for success.

Please note:  This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday between regular store hours. A fuel card is provided, but you’ll need to have your own reliable vehicle and Full Drivers License for travelling between retail stores.

A fuel card, laptop and tablet are provided, with bonuses paid quarterly! 
   
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Driving accessory sales across a portfolio of retail accounts
  • Executing regular store visits and maintaining a consistent call cycle
  • Merchandising and maintaining in-store displays to brand standards
  • Implementing planograms and promotional tools
  • Supporting in-store staff with training, sales tools, and incentives
  • Providing feedback on stock levels, product performance, and customer insights
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with retail teams
  • Representing a differentiated service model that includes VMI and 4PL solutions
Internal Contacts:
  • Must be able to communicate with all areas of the company
    Working with the sales channel and key customers
External Contacts:
  • All designated Retail locations
Experience: 
  • Approximately 2 years' experience in the technology sector (advantageous)
  • Able to demonstrate through career experience a track record of success in the delivery of new product initiatives to either consumer or business markets
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of product life cycle management 
  • Has strong time management, planning and problem solving skills
  • Has customer relationship skills
